Job Title:

Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced general counsel to support our growing firm. This individual will work independently and with outside counsel in handling most aspects of the firm's legal matters.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include working with business leaders in negotiating contracts, providing real time compliance advice and guidance to business teams, developing, executing, and monitoring policies and procedures in order to respond to regulatory developments, and providing compliance training to employees.

Required Qualifications:

This position requires 4+ years experience in the futures and commodities business and a strong familiarity with operations and business relating to a trading advisor. The successful candidate must be a detail oriented, self motivated individual with an in depth knowledge of the futures industry rules and regulations. Knowledge of securities law is also desirable. A JD degree, understanding of SCTC Part 4 rules and working knowledge of SEC private placement rules under Regulation D is required. Strong MS office skills are necessary.
