Job Title:

Network Engineer

Position Location:

Century City, CA

Position Description:

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, supporting, and documenting the enterprise network, security and voice infrastructure in a large, complex, and highly dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years recent network engineering expertise support a multi-site WAN and LAN environment.
• Experience designing and supporting a dual MPLS WAN environment where 100% uptime is required.
• Experience with advanced routing protocols to allow dynamic inter-site communications, specifically BGP and EIGRP.
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise network security best practices and policies.
• Demonstrated experience researching new technologies, tools, and techniques and implementing them into the environments.
• Proven ability to be visionary in defining enterprise network architecture – define and implement the architecture and direction of the network, continually researching new technologies and areas for improving or optimizing network traffic flow.
• Able to help with server administration task and provide backup support to Systems Admins and trading applications.
• Willingness to work occasional evening and night shift hours for project and coverage needs.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Experience:

• Network Monitoring tools with a good understanding of NetFlow.
• Basic systems administration skills (Windows/Linux) to diagnose connectivity issues and communicate with the systems team.
• Wireless experience, utilizing Cisco Wireless Controllers and Light-weight Access Points.
• WAN Acceleration products – preferably Cisco WAAS utilizing WCCP.
• Experience working with financial market data feed providers.
• Cisco VPN experience (SSL, IPSEC, Site to Site) on Cisco ASA and Cisco routing platforms.
• Basic understanding and theory of Multicast.
• Quality of Service for voice, video and mission critical applications.
• Cisco ACS and RSA implementation and support experience.
• Experience working with Cisco Voice & Video technologies – including Cisco CallManager (v8.5), CallManager Express, Unity, Tandberg Video endpoints.
• CCNP certification desired.
