Sr. Fund Accountant

Position Description:

The Sr. Fund Accountant will provide overall leadership to the Fund Accounting department. The position is responsible to manage all fund accounting related projects, coordinate accounting transactions for funds and managed accounts with internal and external providers, review monthly net asset value and performance calculations prepared by an external provider, prepare supporting documentation for fund audits, serve as the liaison with external auditors and perform other accounting responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of five years related experience. Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills is required. Successful candidate must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve. Public accounting experience is desired and a CPA designation is preferred.
