Job Title:

Systems Administrator

Position Location:

Position Description:

This position will have a broad range of responsibilities within our IT team but will focus on maintaining backup systems for all Crabel sites, analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with server and PC systems, installing and configuring new hardware, software, servers and PC systems. Qualified candidates must be open to working at all levels of support and different types of projects - both desktop and server related.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to prioritize issues appropriately.
• Team player with a strong work ethic that can operate with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Superior troubleshooting abilities in both hardware and software.
• Experience supporting a multi-site backup system – specifically with BackupExec & CommVault.
• Ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Linux Server OS.
• Experience troubleshooting Active Directory, MS Exchange.
• Experience with administration of Citrix systems.
• Experience with Thin Client Terminals and Virtual Desktops.
• Working knowledge of VMware administration.
